Sophiiiieeeeee

This little miss is turning TWO this month… TWO!! I don’t think anyone really believes that’s even possible but somehow she’s managing to grow up behind all of our backs, and it’s not cool/really fun. She has developed quite the little personality, the perfect combination of sweet & sassy. Emphasis on the SWEET… this girl is the sweeeeetest, she’s constantly giving hugs and kisses without even having to ask and hearing her say “I ruv oo” (I love you) just melts me every time. We are so proud of little Soph and can’t wait to continue watching her continue growing into a little lady. We love you Sophie!

Just the cutest thing…
Can’t. Handle. It. !!!!!
And a close second to the most adorable face on the planet… Sophie’s Uncle Joel : )

Sara is Graduating!

Last week I got to take some college senior photos for one very special girl in my life. I’ve known Sara since I was born… like literally she was AT the hospital when we were born. Our parents have been friends forever and now, so have we! I can’t believe it’s already time for us to be done with college. Me & Mel have many hilarious and fun memories growing up with Sara and I know we’ll only continue to make them as we all grow older. I am so honored to document this exciting time for her, not that it was even hard. Sara’s obviously gorgeous (always has been) and made my job super easy : ) Here’s a little preview of our session:

Nick & Nicole: Married!

Last weekend I photographed Nick & Nicole’s wedding out at a ranch in Cave Creek. It was a beautiful sunny day with perfect weather for their country style wedding. Guests were welcome to dress casually and enjoy the outdoor activities like frisbee golf, horse shoes, fishing, even archery. It was definitely a good time had by all and I was honored to be there to document it. I loved how relaxed and calm Nick & Nicole were about their big day, you could tell they were both just excited to be getting married and ultimately that’s what matters most. The day flowed so nicely without any hiccups, God definitely blessed their wedding day and was honored throughout the whole thing.

LOVED the country/rustic details… especially the wildflower bouquet.
Here’s Nick & his groomsmen enjoying an intense game of horseshoes before the ceremony.
So happy!
Nick & Nicole blew everyone away with their perfectly choreographed first dance… it was so fun watching these two work it on the dance floor.
Thanks for having me at your beautiful wedding, Nick & Nicole!

Jeremy & Megan: Married!

*** First of all I MUST apologize to Jeremy & Megan’s families who I told at the wedding I’d have these pictures blogged within a couple of days… clearly I did not follow through with that and I am SO sorry. I hope you will forgive me after you see some of these snap shots : ) ***

Last Saturday I had the true privilege of photographing our dear friends wedding! Jeremy & Megan tied the knot at a beautiful afternoon wedding, decked with the sweetest little details and touches. These two are a true blessing to Joel & I and we were honored to both be a part of their big day, not to mention how excited we are to have our good friends starting this crazy marriage adventure so close together with us. We value their friendship and admire the relationship they have with each other and others. Being behind the scenes at their wedding was so fun because all day they were just so ready and excited to be married- who isn’t really? Their happiness was so fun to be a part of and truly filled the room. Thanks for getting married Jeremy & Megan… we love you guys!

Here’s that sharp groom… navy suit and all…
And his gents with yellow socks, yeah, yellow socks.
who’s that hottie on his right?? : )
Beautiful, sweet Megan givin’ some serious attitude. Don’t hate it.
Had to include this shot we grabbed real quick while waiting at the crosswalk… there’s never NOT a backdrop opportunity.
I promised I wouldn’t tell Jeremy but she was actually trying to hitch a ride out of town… good thing no one picked her up.
The new Mr. & Mrs!
And just because he’s my husband…

Jaggar is Three!

Can you even believe it? I know I say this every year but seriously, HE IS SO BIG!! And it always feels like 2 seconds pass between his birthdays every year. Jaggar is more like a little man these days than a little boy, he surprised me with all of his chatter and personality. It is always so entertaining to see how he changes year after year and what his latest obsessions are. This year apparently it’s cowboys, more specifically Woody & Jesse from Toy Story. So of course it was only right to bring all of his cowboy gear to the session for some photos. And WOW how happy he was once he put those boots on. Jaggar has quite the imagination and he was known around the playground as “Sheriff Woody”.

How handsome this kid is!!
Complete happiness.
